My boss would like to increase his hourly rate for all new clients, while grandfathering in his established clients with their previous rates. Is there a way to do this?

HI @Christine Linser (Customer) Thank you for reaching out to us here. You can change rates for new matters only by creating special fees these would be assigned to the matter, or you can have the timekeeper change the rate from the drop down menu and adjust the fees per matter that way. There is no other option to change rates and keep other clients grandfathered in. I am attaching documentation for both options - https://community.leap.us/s/article/Create-a-special-fee
The second option would be done by going to: menu - settings - application settings - firm - members - click member name and then rates tab. You can adjust hourly rates this way. Please be advised this needs to be done for each staff member.
