How to open new matter for same client?

Thank you for posting on LEAP Community Discussions.

You can open a new matter for the same client by creating a new matter per usual. When you add in the card for your client, type the name and a list of suggested cards will appear on your right hand, select your client's card. You can also create a new a new matter by opening your current matter > opening up your clients card > Clicking matters > In the blank space under the current list of matters > Right click > Select new matter.

I wanted to add to what Shaiefa from LEAP mentioned. If you already have a matter created for the client and would like to use some or a bulk of the information from the matter for that client, you have an option to create a New Matter Based on this Matter option and select what tables/information you would like to copy over.

Simply right-click on the matter in the matter list and select New Matter Based on this Matter. Here is a link to the knowledgebase article as well: https://community.leap.us/s/article/Create-a-new-matter.
