Hi @Scott Wolf (Schlossberg, LLC),
Happy New Year & thank you for posting on LEAP Community Discussions.
I am not quite sure I understand your inquiry, notifications are displayed if an item (e.g. comments) are set to notify your user account by the user who created that item.
Furthermore, other notifications that are given by LEAP can be controlled via the staff notifications as described below,
Let us know if you require further assistance.
Best regards,
Sebastian.

What I mean is: Assistant sets a deadline in Calendar. I am Acting attorney, so I get a popup that something is happening. I click on the notification, and get the following error: 'Assistant' is the only user who can open or modify this item" Unless the subject line is super detailed, I will have no idea what the item is for, whether there are notes or other useful information to review. I have mentioned this before, but it is one of those things that is super super important, that goes beyond just a feature/improvement request....it's a defect that needs to be fixed.

Hi @Scott Wolf (Schlossberg, LLC),
This is not a defect as this is how LEAP Calendar & Tasks integrates with Microsoft Outlook, it is not possible to open tasks that don't belong to your Outlook user profile within LEAP unless it was assigned to you.
You may wish to add this to the LEAP Ideas Hub for discussion amongst other forum members and consideration for future LEAP updates.
Let us know if you require further assistance.
Sebastian.

What then is the use of anyone using Calendar and Tasks for anyone but themselves? I can never delegate to my staff the job of entering something important, because I will never be able to see it within LEAP. Perhaps the better answer is "Oh, this is how it works, BUT I see your point and will send this to our development team for review."
