If you use the Combined Matter Ledger from Reports, is it working for you??

Before one of the last updates, you used to be able to print a "Combined Matter Ledger" from the matter's operating tab which showed both the operating and trust transactions for the matter. There is still an option to print a Combined Matter Ledger, but the format has changed and is just terrible. The version that I'm looking for is available from the Reports window. HOWEVER, the issue I'm having that the report isn't generating for every matter. I've had several current matters that have outstanding balances, trust transactions, etc., but when I search the matter, it will not pull that matter up to create the report. Has anyone else who uses this report had this issue?
