Mitch Cash (Customer) asked a question.
Since the Anti-Virus and struggling against Leap we have had machines freeze up, function incredibly slow. Tonight some one at the help desk asked for a screen shot of the exceptions. There are several, it turns out.
I am hoping my experience gets better.

I wished this Firm had never invested in this program - it's so time consuming it's unbelievable how complicated they have made things - and then there's the updates they do -- I wouldn't recommend anyone switching to this software ever.
Yes. Our entire installment process, training, and even troubleshooting now has been nothing but hassle. The staff we've worked with have either been uninterested or outright rude and insulting to our business practices. The only reason we got this software is because PC Law was shutting down and they partnered with LEAP to get people switched over, but that entire process was considerably more complicated than it should have been. Little did we know, it was a sign of things to come. I would never recommend this software. I'd rather go back to using an abacus than use LEAP...
Same thing here since inception. They have never fully integrated the program and my files, adobe, Word, Billing shut down at least once a day. This has been the most frustrating company and program I have ever had. They have not fixed the problems and said if I want to fix it, I can hire their IT people and pay them to fix it. I have had nothing but problems and have lost too many hours and too much money to count. What was supposed to make my practice as a sole practitioner easier has only made it worse.
Every bit of our experience with this software has been 10 steps backward for our small firm. Horrible integration, only works with Outlook Classic??... can't work with Google or on a Mac... can't perform some of the most basic of functions, etc, etc! We had been loyal WealthCounsel users for years and were told this was going to be an improvement to that experience. It has been the complete opposite.
We have had nothing but trouble since moving to LEAP a few months ago. We have been Wealth Counsel users for years and like many were sold on the wonderful integration with LEAP and at a lower price that WC alone. From the beginning, there were so many simple logical things LEAP cannot do. Their support chat, while everyone is friendly, are hardly ever able to help you and need to escalate the issue further. Then the follow up either never comes or cannot be resolved. Once you sign on with LEAP, you cannot use Wealth Counsel as a stand-alone program. LEAP has taken a wonderful, reliable drafting program and imprisoned it around an outdated, glitchy and productivity-sucking product. About the only thing they are good at is taking your money. Clearly LEAP was not ready for this integration and do not contain staff members who actually know anything about Estate Planning. Never have I seen a case management system reduce productivity so thoroughly.
