Once an Online Payment has been made by your client, LEAP will automatically create an operating account/trust payments received against the relevant matter.

You'll be able to view the payments received by selecting the matter and navigating to the Operating Account or Trust Funds tab.

The payments received will also be emailed to the relevant person recorded within the matter.

​The paid funds will be automatically moved into unbanked funds awaiting settlement, usually 3 business days. Once settled, an operating account/trust bank deposit is automatically created.

Online Payments funds will be settled into the nominated bank account as a bulk statement.

For example, if there were 3 credit card transactions of $100.00 each, a bulk statement of $300.00 would be deposited into the nominated bank account.

The description on the bank statement would be Online Payments - Date - $300.00.

On the same day that transactions are settled into the nominated bank account, LEAP will automatically create a corresponding bank transaction (operating account or trust) for the aggregate settlement amount.

If an Online Payments bank deposit requires further investigation, double-click the entry to itemize the aggregate amount.

When printing statements with an End Date prior to the current day, an As At date will display on the Online Payments details next to the Balance Due.
