Application Settings - Safe Custody Document Types and Document Numbering

How To
 

The document types you use in LEAP are initially set up in LEAP Application Settings where you can add, edit or remove document types as you need to. For example, you can add, edit or remove document types for a deed register.

You can also assign a sequential number to each document that's created in LEAP.

 
Click to edit heading

Desktop: Click the LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new window.

 

Web: Click User-added image > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new tab.

Add a New Safe Custody Document Type

 

  1. Click Documents > Safe Custody Document Types.

  2. Click New Type.

  3. Enter the Name.

  4. Click Save.

Edit an Existing Safe Custody Document Type

 

  1. Click Documents > Safe Custody Document Types.

  2. Click the safe custody document type.

  3. Edit the safe custody document type.

  4. Click Save.

Delete a Safe Custody Document Type

 

  1. Click Documents > Safe Custody Document Types.

  2. Click the safe custody document type.

  3. Click Delete.

  4. Confirm the deletion.

  5. Click Save.

Enable Document Numbering

 

When the Document Numbering option is enabled, it is possible to insert the assigned document number into the document via the "Document no." field. Please see below for information on enabling Document Numbering:

  1. Click Documents > Document Numbering.

  2. Tick the Document Numbering checkbox.

  3. Enter the number in Set start number.

  4. Click Save.
