As part of our commitment to continued improvement, and to better support the new Title & Closing integration, LEAP has made changes to the fields appearing on Title Underwriter details. This project will primarily involve the renaming of fields as follows:
The changes are effective as of March 29th, 2022.
Locating data from existing matters
When opening Title Underwriter, data previously entered into the fields impacted by this change will no longer appear as expected. Instead, this data will appear on the Expiring fields tab.
These read-only fields have been temporarily retained for your convenience and to minimize disruption to your practice. However, note that this tab and all its fields will be phased out by July 1st, 2022. We recommend that you transfer all information from this tab to the corresponding fields elsewhere on Title Underwriter details before this date.
Forms in the LEAP library have been updated to utilize the updated fields. To automate documents with information from the Expiring fields tab:
1. Position your cursor where you wish to insert the field
2. Open the LEAP tab on the ribbon
3. Select Editing
4. Select Insert Fields
5. Select Title Underwriter
6. Select the correct field.
TIP: Click a field and a preview of the result will appear in the bottom left of the pane to help with selecting the correct field!
7. Select Insert
Be sure to update any firm templates using the Expiring fields before they are phased out on July 1st, 2022. For additional automation tips, Click Here to see our Help Center article.
