Microsoft 365 is changing how it manages permissions with external applications. As a result, LEAP is updating the way it connects to your firm’s Microsoft 365 environment. This update is expected to be deployed on August 19.
Action required
On or after August 19, a Microsoft 365 administrator at your firm will need to grant firm-wide administrator consent to the required LEAP application permissions when prompted.
If you are using LEAP's Calendar & Tasks to create meetings in Microsoft Teams, there is one additional step. Please reach out to our Helpdesk team for more information.
Please ensure your firm’s Microsoft 365 administrator is aware and available to complete the required steps on or after August 19 to avoid disruptions to the integration between LEAP and Microsoft 365.

This consent affects the syncing of emails, calendars, tasks, and meetings between LEAP and Microsoft 365. No new Microsoft 365 permissions are being introduced as part of this update. The change is to how the existing permissions are granted. Once your Microsoft 365 administrator has authorized the connection on behalf of the firm, individual users will not need to provide consent again for these changes.
