What to do if you have a c/o (care of) as client's address?

Cheri Bardin (Customer) asked a question.

What to do if you have a c/o (care of) as client's address?

I have already had this conversation with our PMA today but I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this issue. We're an Elder Law/Estate Planning law firm. We have lots of cases where the client is an elderly individual or couple and the point of contact is an adult child, sibling, caregiver, etc. Correspondence is to be directed c/o that point of contact. However, when we've created our automated templates, we instruct the template to grab the Client's address as the merge field. Well, if the client's address on the card has the c/o's address, it will be wrong in the document. Our PMA didn't have a solution and was going to discuss it with others in Document Automation but I'm curious if others have encountered this problem! It was new to him. If you follow what I'm asking, can you please let me know if this is a problem for you as well and if you've found a solution? Thanks so much.
