There is a minimum operating retainer balance alert, but it doesn't work based on time and fees. To trigger the alert, time and fees must first be invoiced and the retainer applied. The alert is activated when the retainer balance reaches the threshold you've set and only checks the actual amount in the Retainers and Credits table. You can find instructions for setting this up here.

Thank you for the reply. I believe I need to explain more what I am looking for. As a family law firm, we take a retainer when a person hires us. This money goes into the TRUST account and is used to pay invoices (time and fees) and also any out of pocket expenses (postage, constable fees, etc.). I was looking to see if there is an alert for the TRUST account funds for each matter. This lets us know when to bill. We never use the Retainers and Credits in the operating account. Is there an alert that can be set for the TRUST account funds, when they reach a certain amount?
