I am admittedly a fairly new user to LEAP, but I just tested this. I found one of our archived matters that had an individual with an unusual name (that I know isn't duplicated) as a contact card. I then went into one of our test matters and added that person with the unusual name as a registered agent. His card was still available even though his previous matter was archived. This was the same for a "leap people" card. I also haven't found a way to archive a contact (contact card or a "leap people" card).
