How can an email be saved to multiple matters?

    Hey Lynn - I believe it has to do with your Client Card information and how that Client Card is connected with other matters. When you create a new matter and want to connect it to an already existing client, you should have a pop-up window of suggested client cards that you've already created when you start filling in the info (such as the company name or client's name, etc.).

     

    For example, if I created a Client Card for "John Doe" with his email and phone number, and want to make him a separate Estate Planning Matter and a Litigation Matter, I ensure that when I go to create those matters, I choose John Doe's client card for both. That way, the card is connected to two matters, and therefore the information for John Doe will match. Going forward, if you change any information in John Doe's client card - his information will change within all the matters he is attached to.
