How do you enter different Health care agents for each spouse in set up
setting up an RLT and ancillary documents for a married couple. They chose different individuals as their respective healthcare and general durable power of attorney but in set up LEAP only allows for one - apparently for both???
Is there a place to identify a child as born of both parents , born of one parent, or as a step child?
You can enter multiple people for the healthcare and POAs.
For example, add your first health care representative's name to the table. Then double click "Fiduciary Details" and it will allow you to assign the person to a specific spouse. You can enter the relationship to the client if you want (sibling, friend, etc.). Right click on the completed healthcare representative and select "New Health care representative". If they name alternates, you may need to edit the table types to add the alternate field.
Same thing with the children. Enter the child's name into the table and save it. Once you save the card, a "Child Details" box should appear. Double-click "Child Details" and you should get a drop down that will allow you to assign to both parents or a specific parent. If there is more than one child, right click on the first child and add New child for each additional child.
