We are using FeeWise to receive credit card/e-check payments. When someone uses an E-Check to make a retainer payment (into Trust Account), is this considered a "wire" payment or personal check? There are no payment options that specifically say "E-Check".

You can use wire or personal check, however, you can add a new payment type under wire called "E-Check". To do so you need admin access and would go to menu -settings - application settings - accounting - payment types - choose wire - then add new.
