Why can't I edit my time in a timesheet?

Lisa Ward (Customer) asked a question.

Why can't I edit my time in a timesheet?

Ever since the update, I cannot edit my time in the timesheet. For example, if I have a consult with a client, I only bill one hour even if I go over, and since the update, I cannot change the units to 5, or the hours or the time or anything else. I have to go out of the timesheet and go into accounting and change it from there. This happens all the time, such as if I start my timer but I get interrupted and then I need to restart it. This is unacceptable. Does anyone have a fix for this? LEAP needs to fix this.

  • Hi Lisa,

Thanks for sharing with the LEAP community.

For some clients, Timesheet has an issue with some columns being unresponsive. Rest assured our Development team is diligently working the issue. For now, we have workarounds to alleviate any frustration.

    1. In Timesheet, under the View menu at the top of the screen, select Format Columns. This will launch a 2 column box, on the left under Selected Columns, highlight the Units column and using the Up button in the middle of the box, click Up until the Units column is under Matter No, or the 3rd column position. Click Ok.
    2. If any column remains unresponsive, Tab through the column and return to that column to edit.

If you have any issues please email support@leap.us or join our chat from this site.

I am also having this issue. I will try the fix, but this is causing a problem with correct time tracking.

    Thank you.
