When I save an email to a matter in LEAP, it deletes it from Outlook. Is there a setting in LEAP to prevent this?

There is an option in your settings where it goes to a separate folder, you have to uncheck the setting and then they will stay in your inbox.
It still disappears we have same issue,we will save emails to LEAP and outlook LEAP ribbon will reflect on email but email is not in LEAP
I've found it easiest to solve this problem through Outlook.
Choose an email that you have not yet saved to LEAP. Once that email is selected, go to the top ribbon where you would save the email to LEAP. Click on the diagonal arrow at the bottom right of the "Save to Matter" button. This will pop up the LEAP Automation Options for Microsoft Outlook window. The option you want is under the Email heading. You'll need to uncheck "Move Assigned Email(s)". Then click OK. You may need to restart Outlook to have it fully take effect.
Your "missing" emails should be in one of two sub-folders to your Inbox or your Sent Items--Inbound LEAP Matter Based Emails or Outbound LEAP Matter Based Emails.

Hope this helps!
The solutions which Laura and Jodi previously shared, and which I gratefully utilized are now no longer working, (at least in my version of Outlook, which I believe is the latest), as the option to uncheck "Move Assigned Email(s)" (in the LEAP add-in button) when saving an email to LEAP has now disappeared. I discovered this recently after frantically searching for an important email, then realizing LEAP/Outlook had pulled its old "disappearing" trick. Easy and fast locating of emails is crucial for paralegals - please stay on top of this when integrating updates, LEAP/Outlook. Thanks!
Not a LEAP guru, just started using LEAP, but I think this is the solution.
In Outlook email, use the classic ribbon instead of the simplified ribbon .... in the classic ribbon, the LEAP Save to Matter icon does have the down arrow that when clicked, opens the LEAP Automation Options where you can uncheck the "Move Assigned Emails" box.
The classic/simplified ribbon toggle is a little arrow pointing up that is all the way to the right of the ribbon, at least on my computer.
Hey Mark - thanks for your help. I actually did have my ribbon set to classic already. I noticed after the latest update), that the little arrow has re-appeared, but when clicking on the down arrow, rather than the "Move Assigned Emails," option, a pop-up box appears which says, "Activity Properties," which actually corresponds to the "Time & Save to Matter" function. I'm thinking that maybe when I added the Time & Save to Matter function next to the existing "Save to Matter" in the LEAP section on the ribbon, it kicked out the option to uncheck "Move Assigned Emails." I'm going to try removing the Time & Save to Matter function and see if the option to Move Assigned Emails re-appears.
Also, my understanding is that the new version of Outlook is not yet compatible with Leap but I could be wrong about that since the update?
