What does non-unique! mean in matter management for a matter number? The number I've assigned is not used on another matter.

    Thank you for posting on LEAP Community Discussions.

     

    A Non-unique matter number occurs when a file number is being assigned that is the same as an existing or deleted matter. If you've checked the matters on in the existing matter list, the next step would be to check the deleted matters as well. You can find an article here that details how to correct the Non unique matter number issue.
