Good morning Devang.
Thank you for your response. I'm aware that we can choose with selections we would like but when running bulk billing guides, I want can't pick and choose so I select all in order to capture all selections for each matter. My issue is not with the ability to select, but the way in which the report prints out. Too much space between sections, a convoluted summary which does not show Here is what was billed and is outstanding (if app), here are the new entries total, here is what was paid or prepaid and a total due .. those kinds of things I wondered if I could modify to suit our needs. Similar to an invoice we modified, I want to be able to do the same for the billing guide. I can submit feedback to the design team but I realize they have lots of submissions to consider for various updates.
I don't know if you are still using this product but did you ever figure out a better way to print "prebills" with just time and expenses and not waste all of this paper. Thank you for any assistance.
These reports are so wasteful - there has to be a better way to print a report with time and expenses! PC Law was great -- this program is terrible when it comes to billing on a monthly basis!
Hi Cindy. I'd love to tell you I have but no, I have not! When I download them, I turn on the bookmarks on the side and delete the pages that are essentially blank. It's a huge waste of time. I also wish the billing process was easier. I used Juris and had that down of course, but even after 3 years in Leap, billing takes me at least twice as long as it used to. There are pros and cons with every system for sure, but gosh, I hope they find a way to make improvements to the billing process! And also clean up the billing guides while they're at it!
Thank you for your quick reply -- OMG - I used PC Law for years doing bills for a whole firm - now only one and it takes me forever to do monthly billing now. I really dislike this program. Yes it is a huge waste of my time. Humm I thought technology was supposed to make it better - not in this case. The program is just too tedious to use. About the only thing easy is time input -- thanks again. Leap would not get a good review from me at all
