When I print the time sheet, even though the name is displayed on the timesheet entry screen, when it is printed, only the matter number appears. It makes twice the work to have to look up the name of the client.

Unfortunately, there is not a native option/setting to display the client name in a printed timesheet. As a workaround, you may add a memo/comment and add the client name as this will be displayed on the printed timesheet.
Furthermore, you may wish to add this to the idea hub for other users to vote and discuss and consideration by our product team.
